Eventus Legal are seeking a qualified Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established law firm in Bedford, Bedfordshire, they have multiple office Nationwide.
This is a full-time, permanent job position with a competitive salary and hybrid working in line with the firm's working-from-home policy.

Role Responsibilities
As Residential Conveyancer, you will manage a varied residential property caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion, supported by an established team.
- Handle residential sales and purchases from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
- Manage remortgage and equity release transactions.
- Review and check title for freehold and leasehold properties.
- Deal with transfers of equity and matrimonial transfers.
- Handle matters including shared ownership leases, variations of leases, new-build purchases and Help to Buy transactions.
- Provide suitable support and training to conveyancing assistants within the department.
- Develop local client contacts and cross-refer clients to other departments where appropriate.
Person Specification
The successful Residential Conveyancer will be able to take ownership of an existing caseload and provide a confident, high-quality residential conveyancing service.
- Qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
- Ideally at least 3 years' post-qualification experience.
- Considerable experience of residential sales, purchases and remortgages.
- Experience of shared ownership leases, lease variations, new-build purchases and Help to Buy matters.
