We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join an established maintenance team supporting a busy precision engineering manufacturing environment.
Working across two sites, you'll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment, including CNC lathes, machining centres and bespoke in-house machinery.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Supporting the reliability and performance of production machinery.
- Working closely with electrical engineers and production teams.
- Recording maintenance activities using the CMMS system.
- Assisting with continuous improvement activities.
What We're Looking For
- Time-served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- At least 2 years' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Experience maintaining manufacturing or production machinery.
- Multi-skilled or electrical knowledge would be advantageous.
- Experience with CNC machinery would be highly desirable, particularly multi-spindle lathes.
