About the Opportunity

We're working with an ambitious, fast-growing international business that's become a market leader within their sector and have won multiple awards. Following continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their collaborative finance team. This is a varied role offering exposure across multiple legal entities, with plenty of opportunity to influence decision-making and improve financial processes. You'll work closely with both finance and operational teams, providing commercial insight while ensuring robust financial reporting.

The Role

  • Producing monthly management accounts across multiple entities
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
  • Delivering meaningful financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Managing cash flow reporting and forecasting
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Overseeing intercompany accounting and reconciliations
  • Preparing VAT returns and assisting with statutory accounts and year-end audit
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls and processes
  • Business partnering with stakeholders across the wider organisation

About You

We're looking for someone who can combine strong technical accounting knowledge with a commercial mindset. You'll ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant position
  • Strong month-end and financial reporting experience
  • Cash flow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliation experience
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
  • A proactive approach and a desire to continuously improve processes
