Workshop Engineer

Basingstoke (Commutable from: Hook, Andover, Thatcham, Reading, Camberley, Farnham, Alton, Hampshire, Winchester)

£35,000 + (£45,000 OTE) + Monday - Friday days + Training + Progression + Overtime + Benefits

Do you have Engineering qualifications and/or experience looking to join a National leader in the industry in a workshop position coupled with full Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic training?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join this company in a stable permanent role.

You will be required to work on modern equipment, maintain a good work life balance and have clear progression within their business.

The company are a multi-million manufacturer of specialist Plant and Material Handling equipment supplying to leading facilities.

This role is available due to internal growth plans.

This is a highly varied Monday - Friday days based role out of their modern, fully equipped and local depot.

You will be based on site providing Service, Maintenance, Inspection and Testing on a range of Forklift machinery.

This role would suit a Plant, Mechanical or similar Engineer looking to progress technically, receive multi-skilled training and job a secure business.

The role.

  • Maintenance, Inspection and Testing on Access, Material Handling, Forklift equipment.
  • Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics involved.
  • Monday - Friday (8am - 4pm).

The person.

  • Plant, Forklift, REME, Material Handling, Vehicle background.
  • Any Mechanical background welcomed.
  • Commutable to Basingstoke.
