Duties of a MET Technician:
- Perform mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated vehicles
- Conduct dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
- Reassemble vehicles with new parts as necessary
- Carry out inspections and testing to ensure quality standards
- Identify faults or work required for safety and efficiency
- Road-test vehicles safely and legally to confirm roadworthiness
Requirements of a MET Technician:
- Previous experience as a MET Technician in a busy bodyshop environment
- Attention to detail and quality awareness
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
- NVQ or ATA qualifications preferred, but time-served individuals will also be considered
- Ability to work efficiently within a team and meet deadlines
