A respected regional law firm in Barnsley is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its established and growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor who is looking for a varied caseload, strong client contact and the opportunity to develop their career within a successful regional law firm.

You will work closely with a range of commercial clients, dealing with a broad mix of property transactions while having the autonomy to manage your own workload.

The Role

  • Commercial property sales and purchases
  • Commercial leases, including drafting and negotiation
  • Commercial landlord and tenant matters
  • Acquisition and disposal of registered and unregistered land
  • Agricultural land transactions
  • Advising clients throughout the transaction process from initial instruction through to completion
  • Negotiating documentation and providing commercially focused legal advice
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider property team

About You

The successful candidate will be a Commercial Property Solicitor and will ideally have experience across a broad range of commercial property work. You will have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Commercial Property Law
  • Experience managing your own commercial property caseload
  • Good drafting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • A commercially focused approach to your work
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
