A respected regional law firm in Barnsley is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its established and growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor who is looking for a varied caseload, strong client contact and the opportunity to develop their career within a successful regional law firm.
You will work closely with a range of commercial clients, dealing with a broad mix of property transactions while having the autonomy to manage your own workload.
The Role
- Commercial property sales and purchases
- Commercial leases, including drafting and negotiation
- Commercial landlord and tenant matters
- Acquisition and disposal of registered and unregistered land
- Agricultural land transactions
- Advising clients throughout the transaction process from initial instruction through to completion
- Negotiating documentation and providing commercially focused legal advice
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider property team
About You
The successful candidate will be a Commercial Property Solicitor and will ideally have experience across a broad range of commercial property work. You will have:
- Strong technical knowledge of Commercial Property Law
- Experience managing your own commercial property caseload
- Good drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- A commercially focused approach to your work
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
