About the Client
Somerset NHS Foundation Trust runs acute hospital services, community services, mental health and learning disability services and a quarter of Somerset's GP practices. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with experience in the community, ideally with some skills in crisis management and hospital avoidance, for the Taunton / West Somerset / Bridgwater area. Rehab skills are necessary as they need to be able to identify goals and develop onward plans for patients.
- Must have a UK driving licence and a car as the role requires driving across the area and arriving within a 2-hour time frame for UCR visits.
- Ability to provide manual handling assessment and knowledge of equipment is essential.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage and prioritise a caseload that changes during the day.
- Full-time preferred, part-time considered.
