In this varied role, you will deliver engaging practical and classroom-based Electrical Installation training to Commercial and Domestic Electrician apprentices. You will support learners throughout their apprenticeship, assess their progress and help them develop the practical skills, knowledge and behaviours required to succeed within the electrical industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong Electrical Installation experience and hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. A teaching or assessing qualification would be beneficial, but is not essential, as training and support will be provided to help you transition into education.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrician looking to come off the tools, improve their work-life balance and build a long-term career in education while continuing to use their industry expertise.

The Role

  • Deliver practical and classroom-based Electrical Installation training to apprentices
  • Work closely with employers to ensure learners develop the skills required for industry
  • Based across the Aylesbury and High Wycombe campuses
  • Monday to Friday, 37-hour week with excellent benefits

The Person

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Installation
  • Strong Electrical Installation industry experience
  • Commercial, domestic or maintenance electrical experience
  • Experienced Electrician looking to come off the tools
  • Passionate about developing the next generation of electricians
  • Full UK Driving Licence
