My client is a School based in Ashford area and they are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the strategic and operational financial management of the School on a temporary basis with a view to becoming permanent.
Working closely with the Headteacher, the role centres on managing the income and expenditure of the school, providing insightful reporting and analysis for the SLT.
Key to success in this post will be setting and controlling budgets, forecasting and management accounts.
Applications are sought from experienced finance candidates, either formally qualified or actively studying a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA , AAT or equivalent) with previous experience of operating at a similar level, within schools or other educational sector experience.
Certainly, evidence of managing and controlling budgets, good IT and reporting experience will be required.
Previous experience within the education sector is essential for this role.
