About the Role

Our client, a specialist health insurance provider serving the military community, is looking for a confident and personable Field Sales Executive to sell health insurance products directly to serving military personnel, veterans, and their families on a face-to-face basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales professional to join on a temp-to-perm basis, with a permanent role and negotiable long-term package on offer for the right candidate.

You will be based in and around Aldershot, meeting prospective customers in person — including on military bases, at events, and through pre-arranged appointments — to present tailored health insurance solutions, build trust with the military community, and convert conversations into sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out face-to-face sales appointments and presentations with serving military personnel, veterans, and their families.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with contacts on military bases and within garrison towns, particularly around the Aldershot area.
  • Generate a healthy pipeline of your own leads through networking, referrals, on-site visits, and community engagement.
  • Clearly and compliantly explain policy features, benefits, exclusions, and pricing to prospective customers.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Accurately complete all sales paperwork and CRM records in line with company and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver excellent ongoing customer service, supporting clients after the point of sale.
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge, market developments, and relevant compliance/FCA requirements.
  • Travel to various military locations as required by the role.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record in face-to-face or field-based sales, ideally within insurance, financial services, or another target-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • A self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven approach to work.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with a willingness to travel regularly.
  • A professional, confident, and personable manner when engaging face-to-face with customers.
  • An understanding of, or affinity with, the military community is desirable but not essential — full product and market training will be provided.
  • What's On Offer
  • A negotiable basic salary for the initial 3-month period, reflecting your experience.
  • A bonus scheme available on successful completion of probation, alongside conversion to a permanent contract.
  • A temp-to-perm contract with a genuine, ongoing permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
  • Full training, product support, and ongoing coaching from an experienced sales management team.
  • Career progression opportunities within a growing organisation.
