Sheet Metal Worker
Job Description
- Carry out bench fettling, deburring, and finishing of precision thin gauge sheet metal components.
- Dress and blend welds to customer and engineering specifications.
- Polish exotic metal components to the required surface finish.
- Set and fit finished parts to castings and/or gauges using metalwork techniques.
- Safely operate handheld pneumatic tools, belt linishing equipment and other bench finishing tools.
- Use measuring equipment to inspect and verify components against engineering drawings and specifications.

- Well-versed using a range of manufacturing hand tools
- Confident completing hands-on manufacturing tasks with metal components or sheet metal (deburring/fettling/linishing/air grinding etc)
