Are you a CAD Technician with experience producing fabrication or engineering drawings, looking to join a well-established fabrication specialist working across the offshore energy, renewables, and marine sectors?

Do you enjoy working closely with Production and Estimating teams, reviewing drawings, producing fabrication-ready information, and ensuring design data is controlled and issued accurately within a fast-paced engineering environment?

The company has been delivering high-quality fabrication and welding solutions to the oil and gas industry for over 40 years. Specialising in fabricated steel and pipework, the company supports offshore energy, renewables, marine and steel industry clients with services ranging from onshore fabrication to offshore mobilisation and installation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused CAD Technician who enjoys working collaboratively with production, quality and estimating teams to ensure accurate design information and efficient fabrication processes.

The Role:

  • Produce CAD drawings and burning table profile templates for fabrication projects
  • Control client-issued drawings and maintain accurate revision status and change control
  • Work closely with the Production Manager and estimating team to gather information required for quotes
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients and third-party design partners regarding drawing inputs and revisions
  • Assist production teams with material take-offs and fabrication information
  • Produce working drawings from company survey reports, sketches, and dimensional data

The Person:

  • Proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes
