Job description:

  • Advance start to end payroll processing experience.
  • Active "payroll licence" valid for payroll practice in Israel – a must.
  • At least 4 years experience in operating and running payroll system Har-Gal or Hilan - a must.
  • Knowledge in payroll system changes and implementations will be useful.
  • Managing onboarding and termination process end to end.
  • Tax and social security reporting and payments monthly and annually.
  • End year activities and 101 forms knowledge.
  • Responsible to ensure all input to payroll is correct and understand the processes that impact payroll and work with cross functional teams to support them in providing correct data for payroll input/output.
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams linked to payroll operation such as HR Shared services, Benefits, total rewards, finance, Compliance and Risk, internal and External project.
  • Good experience using various Payroll and HR systems.
  • Experience in handling payroll and payroll linked vendors.
  • Knowledgeable on Israel employment legislation and experience in working with pensions, expenses, insurances, Benefits payroll administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills and good MS Office skills (including excel).
  • Excellent understanding of payroll compliance and in calculating taxes linked to specific pay elements.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good team player.
  • Responsible for processing start to end Israel Payroll Administration and to ensure the payroll operation is in line with the regulations.
  • Handling all payroll input/output from payroll and ensuring to have a compliant payroll in line with local tax regulations and compliance.
  • Working closely with all stakeholders to ensure payroll data is processed correctly through the payroll and on time.
  • Managing Risk and audits to payroll processing and compliance.
  • Handling all tax, finance and benefit related queries and tasks, working with relevant stakeholders to make submissions and payments on time.
  • Responsible for statutory reporting and statistics, managing payroll vendor, and other payroll operations linked vendors.
  • Acting as individual contributor for payroll projects.
  • Has broad industry and organizational knowledge and applies advanced knowledge in a specialty area specific to Israel payroll.
  • Accountable for start-to-end payroll processing, programs and solutions.
  • Understands the interrelationships of different disciplines and advises on HR Shared services related activities linked to payroll.
  • Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas.
  • Integrates and leads work across teams focused on achieving results.
  • The workload will include processing other country payroll as well – full training will be given.
  • Role includes creating and maintaining payroll documentation, and advising broader payroll management and cross functional teams as point of expertise.
