Date: September 2026 Contract: Full Time | Maternity Cover (Until Easter 2027) Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a primary school in the Knutsford area who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2026 until Easter 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community and take responsibility for a Year 5 class for the majority of the academic year.

The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, maintain high expectations, and support pupils' academic and personal development during this important stage of Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate will be expected to quickly build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, ensuring continuity and consistency in the classroom.

Responsibilities * Plan and deliver high-quality Year 5 lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum. * Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils. * Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress. * Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5. * A proactive, reliable, and positive approach to teaching.
  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
