Are you an experienced Site Supervisor who leads from the front? Looking to take ownership of a skilled civils team on a secure, long-term site? Our client is hiring a Working Site Supervisor to join their growing business this is a hands-on role, based permanently on a secure site in Hertfordshire.
About the Role:
As the new Working Site Supervisor, you\’ll be responsible for coordinating a civils team delivering both maintenance and project works. Youll work closely with another on-site supervisor (managing a separate team), and be in daily contact with their friendly, responsive office-based team.
This role is ideal for someone who is calm, organised, patient, and highly effective at communication with a proactive, can-do attitude and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Job Details:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am4pm
- Location: One secure site Royston, Hertfordshire
- Salary: £50,000£55,000 depending on experience
- Contract: Permanent (PAYE or CIS options available)

Key Responsibilities of the Working Site Supervisor:
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations of the civils team
- Enforce safe systems of work and on-site health & safety standards
- Carry out regular quality and safety inspections
- Liaise with clients, other site supervisors, and the office team
- Handle on-site problem solving and issue resolution
- Manage timekeeping and team performance
- Order materials as required

- Minimum 5 years experience on construction/civils sites
- CSCS card (essential)
- SSSTS (preferred)
- First Aid at Work or EFAW (preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
