Key Responsibilities of the Senior Fire Safety Engineer:
- Lead and support fire safety design and risk management for a wide range of building types
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Mentor and support junior engineers
- Conduct site surveys, inspections, and fire risk assessments
- Create clear, comprehensive reports, presentations, and fire strategy documentation
- Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and authorities to deliver effective solutions
- Contribute ideas and insight to help grow and develop the business
What Youll Bring:
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in Fire Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years experience in fire safety engineering
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards it (IFE or IFSM member preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and fire engineering software (e.g. CFD modelling, thermal analysis)
- Strong working knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and international codes
- Excellent communication skills able to translate technical details for varied audiences
- A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and high standards
- A valid UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
- Willingness to travel in the UK and abroad when required
