Sales Executive / Ipswich / Up to £45,000 Per Annum (Basic + Realistic Bonus)

Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join their warehousing and logistics team in order to drive new business in warehousing, and road transport services.

A well-established logistics provider operating successfully in the industry since 2007, our client specialises in comprehensive freight forwarding solutions, including their own LCL (Less than Container Load) consolidation services by both air and sea.

They have dedicated warehousing facilities in Ipswich, and their own in-house trucking operation with a modern fleet of 10 trucks – all focused on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and reliable end-to-end supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Executive

  • Proactively identify, develop, and win new business in warehousing, and trucking services.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while targeting importers, exporters, manufacturers, shipping agents, and distributors.
  • Prepare competitive quotations and close deals.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, warehousing, and transport teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Achieve and exceed personal and team sales targets.

About You

  • Proven track record in warehousing & logisticssales, ideally within warehousing, freight forwarding, international logistics, or shipping.
  • Eligible to work in UK legally.
  • Experience selling warehousing, trucking/road haulage services is a strong advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently (especially in a remote capacity).
  • Existing client network or demonstrable ability to generate leads in the logistics sector.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred (due to potential client visits).
