Join a dynamic financial data team at the heart of the London market. Our client is seeking a detail-driven Corporate Action Analyst to join their London-based research team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in financial markets and corporate actions, working closely with market announcements from companies listed on the London Stock Exchange.

In this role, you will play a key part in monitoring regulatory announcements and producing accurate Corporate Action Bulletins for clients. You will also liaise with registrars and maintain critical dividend and election data used by financial market participants. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys research, analysis, and working with financial market information in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Checking Regulatory news services (RNS) announcement for specific time on daily basis but may check 3 to 4 hours of announcement
  • Creating Corporate Action Bulletin on UK CA Cabsys System
  • Researching Shareholders circular
  • Updating or adding dividend in UK Corporate Action (UKCA) Dividend System
  • Calling registrar for DRIP, Script and Currency Election information
  • Emailing DRIP clients with Drip details
  • Checking Ex-date file on daily basis
  • Perform the job role in compliance with security objectives
  • To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required

Requirements:

Essential:

  • GCSE Level education or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a team
  • 1 year in Customer facing role

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Evidence of excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good research ability
  • Evidence of good customer service orientation
  • Basic proficiency in IT (eg Excel)

Aptitudes/Attributes:

  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
