A leading international B2B food & beverage exhibition organiser is looking for an Events Operations Executive (Italian Speaker) to support the delivery of its growing portfolio of international exhibitions. With ambitious expansion plans across the UK and global markets, the business delivers high-profile industry events connecting brands, buyers and professionals from around the world.

A major focus of upcoming growth includes a flagship international exhibition taking place at ExCeL London in November 2026, dedicated entirely to the global pizza industry.

The Events Operations Executive Role

This is a highly operational, hands-on role supporting the full lifecycle of event delivery from pre-event planning through to live operations and post-event wrap-up. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring exhibitions are delivered smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards. You’ll be trusted to independently manage operational tasks while proactively identifying issues and implementing practical solutions. This role would suit someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving and has strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support management of exhibitor data and operational communications
  • Assist with supplier, contractor and venue coordination
  • Support floorplan updates and space allocation processes
  • Prepare operational documentation and build-up planning
  • Act as a key operational support contact during build-up and live event days
  • Coordinate exhibitors, suppliers and internal teams on-site
  • Respond to operational issues in real time
  • Ensure smooth delivery of venue services and operational processes
  • Provide hands-on support to exhibitors throughout the event
  • Support breakdown operations and venue handover
  • Assist with operational feedback collection and reporting
  • Support post-event reporting and data consolidation

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in event operations, ideally within exhibitions or trade shows
  • Fluent Italian speaker with strong written and spoken English
  • Experience working within fast-paced live event environments
  • Good understanding of exhibition logistics and operational delivery
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Practical and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working independently on assigned operational tasks
