Our client, a rapidly growing, family-owned business specialising in the creation, supply and installation of bespoke high-end furniture including media walls, walk-in wardrobes and kitchens, are now looking to add an experienced CNC Programmer to their team.
As a CNC Programmer you will be responsible for programming our 3 axis CNC machine alongside producing precise and detailed technical drawings for our assembly and installation teams. You will have extensive knowledge of Cabinet Vision and have a good understanding of joinery and installation techniques and requirements.
In addition, you will create comprehensive build packs, assembly instructions, and installation guides to ensure seamless project execution. Additionally, you will contribute to developing and refining our product catalogue and adding UCS (User Created Standards) in Cabinet Vision to further streamline our design processes.

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Programmer:
- Prepare, optimise and submit CNC programmes.
- Maximise efficiency through the nesting process.
- Plan and coordinate CNC activities in conjunction with the production manager.
- Procure sheet materials for each order.
- Work closely with the design, sales, production and installation teams to ensure a smooth order process from start to finish.
- Prepare works orders along with accurate and detailed technical drawings.
- Upkeep of the product and component library.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in CNC programming in the furniture industry.
- A thorough understanding of Cabinet Vision software.
- Strong knowledge of furniture and joinery construction.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings.
- Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Knowledge of sheet materials, including MDF and Melamine.
Desirable:
- Knowledge and experience working as a machinist on edge banding and CNC machines.
