This role is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and technically minded Business Analyst to shape the future of card and payments solutions. You will act as the link between business requirements and technical delivery, translating complex needs into actionable solutions. Working across multiple teams, you\’ll design clear workflows, refine processes, and support the configuration of TSYS systems. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering seamless customer and operational experiences. You\’ll have the chance to influence product delivery, collaborate with experts across technology and operations, and contribute directly to high-impact payment solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders in product, tech, and operations to translate requirements into TSYS system solutions
- Break down complex problems into user stories, process flows, and clear documentation
- Partner with developers throughout the full lifecycle, from ideation to deployment
- Support agile ceremonies including backlog grooming and sprint planning
- Improve processes for requirements management, testing, and product delivery across teams
- Assist with the configuration and delivery of BAU TSYS system updates
Requirements
- Proven experience with TSYS platforms (Prime or TS2), especially around card processing, file formats, or integrations — or equivalent payment systems
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Technical BA in fintech, banking, payments, or a fast-paced tech environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven and systems-oriented mindset
- Ability to write user stories, design workflows, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills for working across technical and business teams
- Self-motivated and curious, with a strong drive to learn and improve processes
- Nice to have: SQL skills or experience with large datasets; knowledge of compliance, fraud, collections, or loyalty systems; experience with Excel VBA, coding languages (Python, HTML, XML, JSON); and familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira or Confluence
