Our partner is looking for a Technical Project / Program Manager - Enterprise Imaging based in United Kingdom.

This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale healthcare technology initiatives that improve clinical workflows and patient care through advanced imaging solutions.

As a Technical Project / Program Manager, you will oversee complex enterprise implementations involving imaging platforms, integrations, and AI-enabled technologies.

You will coordinate technical teams, healthcare stakeholders, and vendors to deliver successful project outcomes from planning through go‑live and stabilization.

The position combines healthcare IT expertise, program leadership, stakeholder management, and technology transformation.

You will play a key role in driving innovation within enterprise imaging environments while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

  • Accountabilities
  • Lead complex healthcare IT projects and programs focused on enterprise imaging platforms and related technology initiatives.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams including clinical stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and operational groups.
  • Manage implementation activities including testing, deployment preparation, cutover planning, go‑live execution, and post‑launch stabilization.
  • Support AI and machine learning initiatives designed to improve imaging workflows, automation, and clinical operations.
  • Partner with healthcare, technical, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated imaging solutions.
  • Drive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure effective communication between project teams, leadership, and external partners.
  • Monitor project progress and provide clear updates on milestones, challenges, and delivery outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar leadership role within healthcare IT.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise healthcare technology implementations.
  • Experience with enterprise imaging solutions such as Epic Radiant, Sectra, PACS, RIS, AI/ML imaging platforms, or comparable systems.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT implementation methodologies and end‑to‑end project delivery processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams, clinical users, executives, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing timelines, risks, budgets, and dependencies.
  • Experience supporting large healthcare systems or enterprise‑scale technology transformations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as DICOM and HL7 is a plus.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.
