This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and strategy, shaping how users experience complex enterprise developer tools and how those products are positioned in the market. You will lead high-impact research across both product and brand domains, influencing everything from feature design to messaging and go-to-market decisions. Working in a fast-paced, fully remote and globally distributed environment, you will collaborate closely with Product Design, Product Management, Brand, and Marketing teams. Your insights will directly inform product direction, user experience improvements, and strategic business priorities. This is a highly visible role where research is deeply embedded into decision-making and organizational alignment. You will also contribute to elevating research maturity across teams, mentoring peers and improving how insights are shared and applied.
Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end UX research initiatives across product, brand, and marketing domains, including foundational, evaluative, and strategic studies.
- Conduct mixed-methods research (qualitative and quantitative) to understand user behaviours, pain points, workflows, and motivations in complex technical environments.
- Drive research that informs product design, positioning, messaging, buyer understanding, and digital experience optimisation.
- Synthesize insights across multiple studies to uncover broader patterns and actionable strategic recommendations.
- Partner closely with Product Design, Product Management, Brand, and Marketing to guide research framing and ensure actionable outcomes.
- Communicate findings clearly and persuasively, tailoring insights for technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
- Mentor other researchers and contribute to improving research practices, documentation standards, and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in UX Research, ideally across both product and marketing/brand research domains.
- Strong command of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with the ability to select the right approach for each problem.
- Experience working on enterprise software, developer tools, or highly technical product environments is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide them toward evidence-based decisions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex research into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience working in fast-paced, iterative, and globally distributed remote environments.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple research streams simultaneously.
- Ability to quickly ramp up in complex technical domains and understand developer-focused ecosystems.
