Our partner is looking for a Senior/Staff Type Script Engineer based in United Kingdom.

  • Accountabilities
  • Design, build, and deliver production-ready features across a modern Type Script technology stack.
  • Own backend services, APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and serverless cloud infrastructure to ensure scalable and reliable applications.
  • Contribute to frontend development using modern React and Next. js technologies when required.
  • Partner directly with enterprise customers and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into well-designed technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms, enterprise systems, and external APIs.
  • Design, deploy, and optimize serverless, event-driven architectures on AWS while contributing to infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Leverage AI coding tools and agents to accelerate software development, while reviewing, validating, testing, and improving generated code to maintain production-quality standards.
  • Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural improvements, security best practices, and continuous process enhancements.
  • Help shape the technical direction of the platform while identifying new opportunities to improve customer value and product capabilities.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience as a Senior or Staff Software Engineer with deep expertise in Type Script.
  • Strong backend development experience using Node. js, Bun, or similar Java Script runtimes.
  • Proven ability to contribute across the full stack, including modern React and Next. js applications.
  • Hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and operating production systems on AWS using serverless and event‑driven architectures.
  • Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, backend integrations, and relational databases such as Postgre SQL.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and cloud automation practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with enterprise customers, gather requirements, communicate technical trade‑offs, and independently deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Experience using AI‑assisted software development tools as a core part of daily engineering workflows, with the ability to critically evaluate and take ownership of AI-generated code.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication abilities, technical judgment, organization, and ownership mindset.
  • Experience in early‑stage startups, enterprise AI products, workflow automation, cloud architecture, infrastructure tools such as SST or Pulumi, or integrations with enterprise platforms is considered a strong advantage.
