We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Node/Vue/TypeScript) for one of our clients, working remotely from Europe. In this role, you will build and enhance a cutting-edge book editing tool, collaborating with designers and engineers to deliver new features. Your work will impact authors by helping them create professional books for print and e-readers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own the full feature development process, from design to deployment, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
Accountabilities:- Design, develop, and deploy new features for a collaborative word processor.
- Enhance the platform's features to improve user experience for authors and freelancers.
- Architect and develop scalable web applications using NodeJS, VueJS, and TypeScript.
- Improve application performance, durability, and security in production.
- Own tasks and deliver features from conception to completion.
- Participate in code reviews and team practice improvements.
- Experience with NodeJS, VueJS, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, MongoDB).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
- Experience with test-driven development and writing maintainable, high-quality code.
