Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Reporting & Insights based in United Kingdom.

Working at the intersection of product, engineering, design, data, and business operations, you will transform complex workforce, payroll, finance, and compliance data into intuitive and trusted solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for reporting and insights experiences, including dashboards, report builders, exports, APIs, scheduled delivery, and AI-assisted insights.
  • Understand customer needs across payroll, finance, HR, operations, executives, and partner teams to translate workflows and challenges into clear product priorities.
  • Build trusted reporting foundations, including standardized reports, configurable reporting tools, data definitions, permissions, lineage, auditability, and reconciliation capabilities.
  • Partner closely with engineering, data, design, security, legal, sales, customer success, and operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable product solutions.
  • Use customer feedback, analytics, and business metrics to measure adoption, engagement, accuracy, trust, and overall product impact.
  • Identify opportunities where AI, automation, anomaly detection, and intelligent recommendations can improve decision-making while maintaining transparency and compliance.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders, manage trade-offs effectively, and ensure teams remain focused on delivering meaningful customer outcomes.
  • Promote strong product practices by balancing customer value, technical feasibility, operational excellence, and long‑term scalability.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a senior product leader with strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and experience building data-driven products in complex environments.

You should be comfortable working with engineering teams, analyzing technical challenges, and translating business needs into scalable product strategies.

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a strong focus on reporting, analytics, data platforms, workflow products, or insights-driven solutions.
  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand cloud architectures, APIs, data models, schemas, and modern software development practices.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and/or Claude Code, with the ability to build, debug, and prototype functional solutions independently.
  • Strong data literacy, including experience with data models, lineage, reporting logic, SQL validation, metrics definitions, and troubleshooting data quality issues.
  • Ability to understand complex reporting requirements and translate them into simple, user-friendly product experiences.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders around product priorities and business outcomes.
  • Strong UX mindset with a passion for creating intuitive, trustworthy, and accessible user experiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and data-related concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Business‑level proficiency in English.
  • Experience in HR technology, payroll, finance, compliance, or B2B Saa S products is a strong advantage.
  • Experience incorporating AI capabilities into customer‑facing products is highly desirable.
