Accountabilities
- Own product direction and execution for a defined segment of the payments product portfolio.
- Improve merchant and shopper experiences across onboarding, checkout, refunds, disputes, payouts, reporting, and reliability.
- Reduce failures, friction, and support volume while improving product ratings and merchant trust.
- Define success metrics, make trade‑offs explicit, and prioritize initiatives based on data, merchant feedback, and support signals.
- Collaborate with priority payments partners to improve integrations, manage dependencies, and resolve issues.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders in a distributed environment.
- Write briefs, PRDs, and prototypes as needed, and review flows and designs in tools like Figma.
Requirements
- 7+ years in product management roles with senior individual contributor experience owning complex problem spaces.
- 4+ years of experience in payments or fintech, preferably on large‑scale or global product launches.
- Strong product judgment and ability to make informed decisions with incomplete information.
- Experience managing high‑trust systems where reliability is critical.
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and designers, understanding technical constraints and trade‑offs.
- Strong analytical skills, practical experience with metrics, dashboards, and instrumentation.
