This position is for a Software Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the modernization and replatforming of mission‑critical applications. Accountabilities
- Lead and support the replatforming and modernization of existing enterprise applications.
- Configure and customize IBM Maximo for effective asset management.

- Integrate Maximo with external systems using REST APIs and middleware.
- Conduct analysis of existing Maximo implementations for performance improvements.
- Support data migration activities to Azure cloud storage.
- Implement cloud‑native services using Azure App Services and Functions.
- Collaborate with users and engineering teams to meet mission requirements.

Requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3‑7 years of experience as a software engineer in federal environments.
- Strong IBM Maximo or Java development experience.
- Proficient in Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems.
- Familiarity with SDLC best practices and DevSecOps workflows.
- Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear documentation.
