Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, ensuring reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Lead infrastructure architecture initiatives for internal systems and client engagements, managing projects from scoping through deployment and optimization.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Manage Kubernetes environments and containerized workloads, including deployment automation and Helm chart maintenance.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to improve deployment reliability and engineering productivity.
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, and related platforms.
- Collaborate with client teams to transfer infrastructure knowledge and establish sustainable operational practices.
- Contribute to open-source projects and actively participate in technical communities related to infrastructure and cloud engineering.
- Support cloud security best practices including IAM/RBAC, secrets management, pipeline security, and infrastructure governance.
- Mentor team members and collaborate asynchronously within globally distributed engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong experience working with at least two major cloud providers among AWS, Azure, and GCP, with familiarity across all three.
- Advanced expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and Helm chart development.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, and logging solutions including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch stacks.
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting/programming language for automation and tooling.
- Experience with cloud security best practices including IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and secure pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Git, GitHub workflows, and remote asynchronous collaboration practices.
- Proven experience working directly with clients, translating technical requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Active open-source contributor or maintainer experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with GitOps, MLOps, AI/ML infrastructure, SQL/databases, or configuration management tools such as Ansible is considered a plus.
