We are currently looking for a Remote Site Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee all on-site activities of projects ensuring their execution aligns with contract specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. You will be responsible for coordinating between customers and external resources, managing site logistics, and fostering effective relationships with stakeholders. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to lead projects from anywhere in England.
Accountabilities
- Plan project on-site activities with the Project Manager, including necessary resources and milestones.
- Coordinate all on-site activities to ensure successful execution of construction, commissioning, and maintenance tasks.
- Serve as the project's representative, building and maintaining relationships with customers and local stakeholders.
- Ensure proper handling and installation of equipment to prevent damages.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and maintain compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Promote health and safety to project partners and ensure all resources are properly trained.
- Control project costs and monitor actual spend against forecasts.
- Maintain and update documentation for on-site work.
- Manage sub-contractors to meet quality and progress standards.
- Report regularly to the Project Manager on site activities, health and safety, and project progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in construction and/or installation.
- Understanding of transmission regulations and current health and safety legislation.
- Proven leadership and strong communication skills.
- Proactive and flexible personality.
- DNO Authorization preferred.
