We\'re looking for a visionary and hands-on Principal Engineer to lead the architecture of a cross-platform product serving millions of users globally. This role focuses on setting technical direction, driving platform consistency across mobile and web, and fostering collaboration among distributed teams. Accountabilities:
- Define and evolve the cross-platform architecture to ensure scalability, maintainability, and high performance
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business goals
- Provide hands-on leadership by creating reference implementations, conducting architecture reviews, and mentoring engineers
- Champion quality through modular system design, testing best practices, and forward-thinking infrastructure decisions
- Detect and mitigate system-level risks that could affect delivery timelines or product stability
- Stay ahead of industry trends in mobile/web tech, proactively driving platform innovation
- Extensive experience building and scaling B2C products for large user bases, ideally in mobile or cross-platform environments
- Deep technical expertise in mobile (e.g., iOS with Swift), web (e.g., React), or cross-platform technologies (e.g., WASM)
- Demonstrated success in leading architectural design for complex, multi-client systems
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to influence across distributed engineering teams
- Experience working in high-collaboration environments with product and design counterparts
