Our partner is looking for a People Analytics & Automation Lead based in United Kingdom.

Accountabilities

As a People Analytics & Automation Lead, you will be responsible for developing data-driven HR capabilities, improving operational efficiency, and enabling better decision-making through analytics and automation.

You will act as a strategic partner for stakeholders, helping define priorities, improve processes, and implement innovative solutions.

  • Conduct audits of existing People Analytics dashboards, reporting processes, metrics, and data sources to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain the People Analytics function by defining key workforce metrics, calculation standards, reporting frameworks, and analytical approaches.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy of calculations, and timely updates of dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Create analytical insights, forecasts, and recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
  • Identify and implement AI use cases for workforce analysis, risk prediction, anomaly detection, and process improvement.
  • Manage and prioritize the People Analytics backlog by gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate with data specialists to define technical requirements, validate solutions, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Analyze People and Compensation & Benefits processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Build and maintain an automation roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Coordinate automation initiatives across People, IT, Finance, and other internal teams.
  • Evaluate implemented solutions, gather feedback, and continuously improve workflows and processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced People Analytics professional with strong analytical capabilities, business understanding, and experience driving automation initiatives.

You should be comfortable working with complex data, collaborating across functions, and turning insights into practical solutions.

  • 5+ years of experience in People Analytics within a company of 500+ employees.
  • Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into analytics or automation solutions.
  • Experience analyzing, optimizing, and automating business processes.
  • Understanding of automated workflow design, system integrations, and process implementation principles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, retention, compensation, and benefits, as well as methods for measuring their effectiveness.
  • Good understanding of People metrics and approaches for calculating and interpreting workforce data.
  • Knowledge of data principles, data management, and data quality practices.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience working with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio is a plus.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, proactive approach, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
