You will act as a trusted technical and functional expert, helping clients maximize the value of their Workday ecosystem through well-designed, reliable, and scalable integrations. The position requires close collaboration with customers, internal engineering teams, and stakeholders to define requirements, implement solutions, and ensure smooth data flows across systems. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Workday integrations with a focus on third-party payroll systems, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll data transfers.
- Partner with customers to define project scope, gather requirements, and set clear expectations for integration delivery.
- Support clients in maximizing Workday value by implementing certified integrations that automate and streamline HR and payroll processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and data flow issues, including payroll validation and field mapping challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance and expand integration capabilities, identifying opportunities for improved functionality.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy standards, and regulatory requirements when handling sensitive HR and payroll data.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, mappings, and process documentation.
- Manage stakeholders and project deliverables to ensure timely, high-quality implementation outcomes.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Workday Consultant, with strong expertise in Workday Core HCM and third-party payroll integrations.
- Workday certifications in Core Connector Tools (CCTPP) and Integration Core; experience with Studio, Prism, Extend, or custom reporting is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Workday integration tools such as EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and APIs.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, including gross-to-net calculations, tax rules, and wage types.
- Experience integrating Workday with external payroll systems and managing complex data flows.
- Solid knowledge of Workday HCM modules such as Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Recruiting.
- Strong consulting background with a focus on client value delivery and solution-oriented engagement.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
