This is a strategic and hands-on People leadership role at the centre of a fast-scaling technology organisation. You will be responsible for shaping and optimising modern People Operations that support a high-performance, data-driven, and automation-first culture. Acting as both a team leader and transformation driver, you will enhance the employee experience across the full lifecycle while ensuring operational excellence and compliance. The role combines HR systems ownership, process design, and employee relations expertise within a dynamic SaaS environment. You will play a key role in enabling managers and teams with scalable tools, insights, and processes that support rapid organisational growth. Accountabilities
- Lead and continuously improve end-to-end People Operations processes, policies, systems, and workflows to deliver a high-quality employee experience.
- Manage and develop a high-performing People Operations team, driving consistency, capability building, and operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.
- Own and optimise HR systems and tools, ensuring strong data integrity, automation, reporting accuracy, and strong user adoption across the organisation.
- Oversee core People cycles including performance management, compensation reviews, employee development processes, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Act as a key escalation point for employee relations matters, supporting managers in resolving complex or sensitive cases effectively.
- Champion process simplification and digital transformation to reduce administrative burden and enhance efficiency.
- Strengthen governance, compliance, and reporting practices to ensure accuracy, risk management, and regulatory alignment.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading People Operations or HR Operations teams within a scaling technology, SaaS, or fast-growth environment.
- Strong track record of designing and improving HR frameworks across performance, reward, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Solid expertise in employee relations, with confidence handling complex cases and advising managers on resolution strategies.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, HR data, reporting, and process automation tools.
- Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and governance requirements.
- Ability to operate with a “People as a Product” mindset, focusing on scalability, simplification, and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making and operational improvement.
