In this role, you will lead and inspire multiple crossâfunctional engineering teams, ensuring the delivery of highâquality software products while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will oversee scrum squads, align technical execution with business objectives, and act as a bridge between engineering, product, and business teams. This position requires both strategic vision and handsâon problemâsolving, offering the opportunity to shape engineering practices, mentor talented engineers, and influence longâterm technology decisions in a dynamic, remoteâfriendly environment.
Accountabilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop multiple engineering teams, fostering a highâperformance and collaborative culture
- Oversee crossâfunctional scrum squads to ensure timely delivery of highâquality software solutions
- Hire, onboard, and conduct performance evaluations to maintain and grow topâtier engineering talent
- Manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and maintain motivation across distributed teams
- Identify technical risks and roadblocks, driving problemâsolving and process improvements
- Align engineering goals with overall business strategy, contributing to longâterm roadmap planning
- Collaborate with product and business teams to prioritize initiatives and ensure alignment on technical objectives
- Continuously evaluate and implement best practices in software engineering, cloud platforms, and DevOps
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven track record of building, scaling, and mentoring highâperforming engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience managing multiple scrum teams
- Handsâon experience with modern software development technologies, frameworks, and cloud platforms
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Experience in risk management, problem resolution, and process optimization
- Excellent verbal and written English
Bonus: experience managing distributed or global teams, SaaS environments, dataâdriven decisionâmaking, TypeScript, NestJS, React, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
