We are looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager, Narrative & Comms based in the United Kingdom. This is a high-impact storytelling and communications role responsible for shaping how a leading developer-focused platform shows up across the global app ecosystem. You will define and drive the company’s external narrative, ensuring it delivers sharp, opinionated, and timely perspectives on industry shifts, platform changes, and monetization trends. The role blends editorial leadership, strategic communications and distribution thinking, requiring both strong writing craft and a clear sense of narrative positioning. You will collaborate closely with product marketing, leadership and content teams to translate key company moments and industry developments into compelling public-facing stories. A major part of your work will involve making content travel further — through social channels, selective media and ecosystem influencers.
This is a role for someone who thinks beyond content production and focuses on influence, voice and authority in a fast‑moving technical industry.
Accountabilities- Own the company’s external narrative, ensuring a consistent, opinionated and developer‑first voice across all communications.
- Write and publish reactive industry commentary on ecosystem changes, platform updates, policy shifts and monetisation trends.
- Lead company communications including product announcements, milestones, executive messaging and strategic thought leadership content.
- Partner with product marketing to extend the reach of product launches beyond core announcements through narrative-driven amplification.
- Develop and execute distribution strategies for major content pieces, including social, newsletters, selective media and influencer outreach.
- Shape social voice and presence by producing high-impact, opinionated content that builds audience engagement and industry credibility.
- Ensure narrative consistency across all external-facing content, acting as a key editorial voice within the organisation.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, product and leadership teams to align messaging with strategic priorities.
- Identify relevant industry developments and rapidly translate them into high-quality commentary and insights within short turnaround times.
- 7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, brand communications or narrative-focused roles in tech or B2B environments.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft both sharp industry commentary and polished corporate communications.
- Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, SaaS or related technical industries, with informed opinions on market trends.
- Proven ability to build and manage narrative-driven content strategies rather than purely campaign-based content.
- Experience in content distribution, amplification and building content that drives engagement beyond publication.
- Strong editorial judgment with the ability to identify high-signal industry moments worth responding to.
- Ability to interpret data and research and translate it into compelling narratives and public-facing content.
- Familiarity with social platforms and building an audience around perspective and thought leadership.
- Comfort using AI tools to support research, ideation and drafting while applying strong human editorial judgment.
- Experience writing for technical audiences such as developers, founders or product leaders.
- Fully remote and flexible work environment with global collaboration.
- Competitive equity package in a high-growth, venture-backed organisation.
- 10-year post‑vesting window for exercising stock options.
- Annual time‑off policy supporting rest, recharge and wellbeing.
- Home office set‑up stipend and annual learning and development budget.
- Opportunity to shape the narrative of a leading platform in the app economy.
- Exposure to high-impact storytelling at the intersection of technology, product and market trends.
- Collaborative, remote-first culture with strong emphasis on ownership and autonomy.
