We are currently looking for a Remote Electric Operations Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of electric utilities assets. Your leadership will focus on managing contractors and ensuring that all operational activities meet the required standards. You will be responsible for setting, monitoring, and reviewing contracts to meet service levels while also reporting to senior management. This position allows you to influence operational practices that directly support business needs, all while working remotely and traveling as necessary.
Accountabilities
- Oversee the management of on-site contractors to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Set, monitor, and review operational contracts, ensuring service levels are met.
- Report performance and issues to Director level.
- Implement process improvements where necessary.
- Manage day-to-day operations of High and Low Voltage networks.
- Ensure financial processes such as purchase orders and invoicing are effective.
- Conduct site inspections and check contractor performance.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation.
