We are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to lead and optimize paid acquisition across multiple digital channels. This role provides full ownership of paid media strategy, performance, and channel expansion, with the opportunity to build an in-house function and reduce agency dependency over time. You will manage agency partners, execute campaigns, and experiment with new paid channels while collaborating closely with merchandising, creative, and lifecycle marketing teams. The position requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to drive measurable ROI. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and are passionate about turning insights into scalable growth. This is a high-impact role offering visibility across the organization and opportunities to shape the future of paid marketing operations.
Accountabilities
- Own paid media strategy and performance across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube) and Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
- Manage agency partners, set KPIs, allocate budgets, review campaigns, and ensure alignment with business objectives and brand standards.
- Lead the transition from agency-managed campaigns to in-house execution, including campaign optimization, tooling, and process documentation.
- Partner with merchandising to prioritize SKUs, manage inventory constraints, and support product launches, clearance, and refurbished inventory.
- Direct Meta campaigns across prospecting, retargeting, product launches, and promotional initiatives, including creative testing strategies.
- Experiment and expand into additional paid channels (e.g., Reddit, LinkedIn, affiliate marketing, influencer/creator campaigns) with clear success metrics.
- Oversee reporting, forecasting, attribution, and performance dashboards to drive ROI and data-informed decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, lifecycle marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and maximize campaign effectiveness.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in paid and performance marketing.
- Deep expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads, with a proven track record of driving results.
- Experience managing and scaling agency relationships.
- Strong analytical, financial, and strategic mindset, comfortable owning revenue and efficiency metrics.
- Experience bringing paid media in-house is a plus.
- Bonus: high-AOV ecommerce or B2B-adjacent experience, Shopify-based ecommerce experience, or experience in coffee, hospitality, or equipment-based businesses.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Benefits
- Flexible schedule and fully remote work from anywhere.
- Opportunities for professional growth and building a high-impact in-house paid media function.
- Work with a dynamic, international, and passionate team.
- Exposure to strategic, long-term campaigns and meaningful projects.
