This role is a high-impact, hands-on operations position supporting senior leadership in a fully remote, fast-moving game development studio. You will act as a key execution partner to the CEO during a transitional period, helping drive clarity, structure, and decision-making across multiple strategic and operational initiatives. Accountabilities
- Support leadership in decision-making by providing cost analysis, risk assessments, feasibility studies, and execution recommendations.
- Manage operational budgeting, expense tracking, purchase approvals, and vendor coordination processes.
- Identify and escalate blockers affecting product development and ensure timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project management and leadership teams to define scenarios for product scope, timelines, and resource planning.
- Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to optimize delivery speed and cost.
- Standardize recurring operational workflows to improve scalability and organizational efficiency.
- Maintain clear documentation and operational tracking to support transparency and alignment across teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Operations Management within the tech industry.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional, multidisciplinary, and distributed teams.
- Background in early-stage (pre-revenue or pre-profit) startups as well as structured operational environments.
- Strong experience in budgeting, expense tracking, vendor management, risk analysis, and cost optimization.
- Experience working in fully remote, globally distributed organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel.
Nice to have: experience in game development or mobile apps, familiarity with web3 projects, and understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
