As Head of Product – Marketplace Intelligence, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of product initiatives that power marketplace growth, efficiency, and intelligence. This role sits at the core of a fast‐scaling, data‐driven marketplace where pricing, discovery, acquisition, and monetization are continuously optimized through experimentation and AI‐driven decision systems. You will manage and mentor a team of Product Managers while partnering closely with Marketing, Growth, Data Science, Engineering, and Commercial teams to shape high‐impact initiatives. This is a senior leadership position where you will define how intelligent systems influence marketplace outcomes, ensuring long‐term sustainability and commercial performance. You will operate in a highly cross‐functional, fast‐paced environment where clarity, strategic thinking, and strong execution are essential.

Accountabilities

  • Own and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Marketplace Intelligence domain, including acquisition, pricing, monetization, and recommendation systems.
  • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers, ML Product Managers, and SEO specialists, fostering high performance, ownership, and strong product thinking.
  • Drive the evolution of AI‐ and data‐powered marketplace systems that improve customer discovery, conversion, retention, and commercial outcomes.
  • Translate company strategy into clear product initiatives, problem statements, decision frameworks, and measurable success metrics.
  • Partner with Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Growth, and Commercial teams to design scalable, experimentation‐driven product solutions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high‐impact opportunities across marketplace dynamics including supply, demand, pricing, and funnel optimization.
  • Ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders by creating clarity in complex, ambiguous, and cross‐functional product areas.
  • Oversee experimentation, product analytics, and performance measurement to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business impact.
  • Balance customer experience, sustainability goals, and commercial performance in all product decisions.
  • Coach and support product leaders in discovery, execution, prioritization, and stakeholder management.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including several years in senior leadership roles managing product teams or product domains.
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing Product Managers and cross‐functional product squads.
  • Strong background in marketplace, platform, or data‐driven product environments with exposure to pricing, acquisition, SEO, recommendation systems, or growth products.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with deep expertise in experimentation, funnel optimization, and product performance measurement.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex marketplace trade‐offs between customer experience, supply‐demand balance, pricing, margin, and long‐term growth.
  • High technical fluency, with the ability to collaborate effectively on data pipelines, ML systems, ranking logic, experimentation design, and system constraints.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience aligning Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Growth, and Commercial teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex marketplace, AI, and data concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Structured, outcome‐oriented approach to product strategy, discovery, prioritization, and execution across multiple teams.
  • Experience working in ambiguous, fast‐moving environments where the right solution requires iteration and discovery.
