Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and smart contracts
- Build and deploy smart contract systems while supporting backend infrastructure for monitoring and data collection
- Conduct market and ecosystem research to identify opportunities for new protocol development and improvements
- Analyze trading flows and market behavior to inform protocol design and optimization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to iterate quickly on experimental features and protocol enhancements
- Leverage AI tools and data insights to accelerate development and decision‑making processes
- Monitor protocol performance, collect metrics, and refine systems based on real‑world usage data

Requirements
- Proven experience writing and deploying smart contracts in production environments
- Strong understanding of DeFi markets, trading systems, and liquidity mechanisms
- Experience or strong familiarity with high‑frequency trading (HFT) and/or market making (MM) concepts
- Deep knowledge of how financial markets and order flows operate in crypto or traditional finance
- Active engagement with DeFi ecosystems, including trading activity and market research
- Strong ability to conduct technical and market‑driven analysis
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, experimental, and iterative engineering environments
- Familiarity with modern development tools, including AI‑assisted coding or research workflows is a plus
