This position is for a Tax Manager - REMOTE. In this high-impact regional role, your tax expertise will influence compliance and reporting across a diverse portfolio of entities in EMEA and APAC. You will oversee corporate tax and VAT/indirect tax for around 20 legal entities, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, regional finance teams, and external advisors. This opportunity allows you to apply your technical skills in a complex international environment, contributing to a robust tax governance framework and supporting an organization with global reach.
Accountabilities
- Lead and coordinate external accounting firms in tax return preparation and year-end provisions.
- Oversee corporate tax and VAT/indirect tax reporting and compliance requirements.
- Support and review intercompany transfer pricing studies and monitor transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of corporate tax and VAT accounts.
- Manage inquiries, reviews, and audits from tax authorities in relevant jurisdictions.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide tax guidance on transactions.
Requirements
- Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with post-qualification experience.
- Typically 6+ years' experience in professional services or industry with multinational corporate tax exposure.
- Proven experience in corporate tax compliance and VAT/indirect tax in multi-jurisdictional settings.
- Demonstrated ability to manage external advisors and oversee tax matters for multiple entities.
- Strong technical skills with experience in large ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
