We are currently looking for a Senior E-commerce Designer - REMOTE. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for crafting high-performing Shopify experiences that enhance user engagement and drive conversions. Your hands-on and design-led approach will ensure that not only are designs visually compelling but also functionally effective. Collaborating closely with developers and marketers, you'll transform ideas into production-ready designs that truly resonate with users. A deep understanding of online consumer behavior and the intricacies of user experience design will be paramount to your success in this role.
Accountabilities
- Design conversion-focused Shopify website experiences from concept to final UI
- Create clear UX flows based on business and marketing goals
- Design homepage, collection, and product page layouts
- Design marketing banners, promotional assets, and supporting visuals
- Design email visuals and layouts aligned with website branding
- Build and maintain clean, scalable design systems in Figma
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are buildable and accurately implemented
- Iterate designs based on feedback, performance insights, and project goals
- Maintain a consistently high level of detail across all deliverables
- Clearly explain design decisions, UX rationale, and conversion logic
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX or e-commerce design
- Advanced proficiency in Figma (UX flows, UI systems, components, auto-layout)
- Strong experience designing e-commerce websites, preferably Shopify
- Clear understanding of the online buying journey and conversion principles
- Excellent eye for layout, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy
