This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Sales Engineering based in the United Kingdom. In this high-impact leadership role, you will define and scale the technical sales engineering function across EMEA, acting as the bridge between cutting-edge AI technology and enterprise business outcomes. You will lead strategic technical conversations with senior decision-makers, including CIOs and CTOs, helping enterprise customers understand and adopt complex AI architectures at speed. Accountabilities

  • Lead enterprise-level technical sales engagements, including discovery calls, architecture discussions, and solution validation with senior stakeholders.

  • Drive technical objection handling and support Sales in advancing high-value enterprise opportunities.
  • Represent the organization externally through executive briefings, conferences, workshops, and industry events.
  • Develop and scale repeatable technical storytelling, including demo frameworks, pitch structures, and verticalized narratives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Sales Engineering and Evangelism function across multiple regions.

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Sales teams to refine messaging, positioning, and roadmap alignment based on market feedback.

Requirements

  • Senior leadership experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Field CTO, or equivalent enterprise-facing technical roles.
  • Deep expertise in AI/ML systems, including LLM architectures, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise deployment models.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, security considerations, and scalable system design.
  • Proven track record of success in enterprise sales environments and complex deal cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing technical teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
