Accountabilities
- Support the stability and improvements of the Salesforce CPQ system for billing processes.
- Train and assist sales and billing teams on CPQ best practices and configurations.
- Manage the integration between Salesforce CPQ and Netsuite, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Identify and resolve integration issues with the Operations and finance teams.
- Develop a roadmap for improvements in integration workflows.
- Create documentation and SOPs for system integration.
- Lead daily billing operations, addressing issues from front-line teams.
- Establish and maintain procedures for timely and accurate invoicing.
- Align with finance and customer success teams on billing policies and exceptions.
- Streamline deal desk processes with sales, legal, and finance teams.
- Manage deal desk inquiries and provide guidance on pricing and contract terms.
- Review and authorize complex deals, utilizing insights to enhance workflows.
- Monitor compliance with revenue reporting standards under US GAAP.
- Oversee accounts receivable and collection activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in billing, finance, or revenue operations, preferably in SaaS.
- Expertise in CPQ systems like Salesforce CPQ, with experience in audits and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and NetSuite; familiarity with Celigo is a plus.
- CPA or significant accounting experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in billing and invoicing procedures.
- Experience with project management tools and communication platforms like Slack.
- Skill in analyzing billing metrics and improving processes.
- Ability to manage large datasets and troubleshoot effectively.
