This role offers the chance to lead and execute high-impact marketing events that enhance brand visibility, strengthen community engagement, and drive business growth. You will manage a diverse portfolio of events, from sponsored trade shows to developer community programs and flagship conferences, ensuring seamless execution and measurable results. As a key contributor to the marketing team, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, DevRel, and other teams to align goals and deliver exceptional attendee experiences. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment, is highly organized, and brings creativity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence to every event. Travel of up to 50% is expected, and the role demands strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and analytical insights to continually improve program effectiveness.
Accountabilities:
- Own planning, execution, and follow-up for a portfolio of events including sponsored, hosted, and community programs.
- Evaluate event opportunities and provide recommendations on time, effort, and budget allocation.
- Manage event budgets, vendors, contracts, production logistics, and on-site operations to ensure smooth execution.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, DevRel, Design, Ops, Finance, Legal) to align objectives and deliver high-quality experiences.
- Oversee attendee experience, including booth setup, demos, staffing prep, and branding details.
- Support event promotion, registration, attendee communication, and post-event follow-up in collaboration with Operations.
- Track and analyze event performance, contributing to reporting, process improvements, and the development of repeatable playbooks.
Requirements:
- 4–7+ years of experience in event marketing or field marketing, preferably within B2B SaaS.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end event execution with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of juggling multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
- Experience thriving in fast-paced, lean, remote, and asynchronous work environments.
- Highly organized, execution-focused, and analytical, using metrics to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.
- Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
