We are seeking an experienced Exchange/Platform Operations Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a digital trading platform. In this role, you will manage a high‑performing team responsible for maintaining system stability, middle‑office support, and operational resilience across spot, margin, and derivatives markets. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Client Support to drive automation, continuous improvement, and risk controls. The role demands strong technical, data, and quantitative skills, as well as the ability to make decisions in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment. You will ensure operational coverage, implement governance frameworks, and provide actionable insights that support strategic growth and trading efficiency. Accountabilities
- Manage platform operations across spot, margin, and derivatives markets, including configuration updates and risk control implementations.
- Lead a team responsible for operational resilience, incident response, and middle‑office support.
- Implement and define processes and best practices to ensure platform stability, auditability, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Client Support teams to deliver innovative, automated, and scalable solutions.
- Oversee the development and enhancement of internal tools such as exchange control centers and futures administration systems.
- Identify and resolve operational gaps while maintaining clear documentation and reporting for stakeholders.
- Serve as a key liaison between clients and technical teams, diagnosing and resolving product issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating trading platforms such as CFD, traditional financial exchanges, trading desks, or cryptocurrency exchanges.
- Technical understanding of platform architecture, data flows, and infrastructure components.
- Strong data and quantitative skills, including proficiency in SQL and Python for analyzing medium‑sized datasets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and cross‑functional teams, particularly in high‑pressure, 24/7 environments.
- Deep knowledge of financial products and ideally cryptocurrency markets.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively without micromanaging.
- Integrity, humility, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Nice‑to‑have: knowledge of cryptocurrency regulatory requirements such as VASP, ESMA, MiCA, or MiFID II.
