Document/deck production QA Evaluator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps.

Our partner is looking for a Document / Deck Production QA Evaluator based in Canada.

This contract role is ideal for an experienced document and presentation quality professional with a strong eye for detail and a high standard for polished deliverables.

You will evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and presentation decks against defined quality standards and professional expectations.

Your expertise will help identify factual inaccuracies, formatting inconsistencies, visual issues, and presentation defects that could compromise the quality of final outputs.

You will provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI-generated work and evaluation standards.

The role requires a combination of production QA expertise, visual judgment, analytical thinking, and strong written communication.

Working remotely and asynchronously, you will contribute to improving the consistency, accuracy, and usability of AI-generated professional content.

• Accountabilities
• Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and presentation decks against established quality rubrics and production standards.
• Review deliverables for factual accuracy, formatting consistency, visual quality, structure, readability, and overall presentation.
• Identify errors and inconsistencies in layouts, typography, charts, tables, slide design, content organization, and other presentation elements.
• Detect factual, aesthetic, technical, and presentation issues that could affect the professionalism or usability of a deliverable.
• Provide clear, structured, and actionable written feedback to support improvements in AI-generated outputs.
• Apply consistent quality standards across different document and presentation formats while exercising sound professional judgment.
• Collaborate asynchronously with subject-matter experts to maintain consistency, accuracy, and relevance across evaluation datasets.
• Work independently, manage deadlines effectively, and maintain a high standard of quality across assigned deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in document production, presentation production, quality assurance, content QA, publishing, or a closely related field .
• Demonstrated expertise in reviewing and quality-checking professional documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business deliverables.
• Native or professional-level fluency in English, with strong written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle factual, formatting, visual, structural, and presentation issues.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate work against defined standards and provide objective assessments.
• Ability to write concise, structured, and constructive feedback that clearly explains identified issues and recommended improvements.
• Highly proficient in

Microsoft Office and Google Workspace , particularly Power Point and Google Slides.

• Strong understanding of professional presentation standards, document formatting, visual hierarchy, and content consistency.
• Comfortable working independently and asynchronously while managing multiple assignments and deadlines.
• An advanced degree, such as a Master’s degree or higher, from a reputable institution is preferred.
