This role focuses on turning high-fidelity product designs into functional, interactive front-end prototypes in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. You will partner closely with product designers to iterate rapidly, translating Figma mockups into working prototypes that accelerate validation, improve stakeholder communication, and streamline handoff to engineering. Leveraging AI-assisted coding tools, your work ensures that designs are implemented with precision, visual polish, and functional quality. You will help set the standard for prototype-driven design, supporting experimentation, innovation, and rapid product development while contributing to reusable front-end components. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a design-oriented mindset to deliver high-impact results quickly and effectively.
Accountabilities
- Work 1:1 with product designers to transform Figma concepts into interactive, production-quality prototypes.
- Build prototypes using technologies consistent with the production front-end (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind), leveraging AI coding tools like Cursor and Claude Code.
- Translate multi-screen flows into functional implementations, iterating quickly through critique loops to ensure alignment with design intent.
- Deploy prototypes to preview environments for asynchronous review, feedback, and stakeholder alignment.
- Collaborate with the Design Systems and front-end engineering teams to ensure consistency and maintain reusable components.
- Provide input on technical feasibility, complexity, and potential improvements while managing multiple workstreams.
- Maintain high attention to visual fidelity, interaction polish, and UX quality in all prototypes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building web interfaces using modern front-end frameworks and component-based architecture.
- Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and related front-end libraries (Radix, Headless UI, shadcn/ui).
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code) for rapid prototyping.
- Ability to translate design specifications into functional code while maintaining high visual and interaction standards.
- Experience working in production-style codebases, Git workflows, and preview deployments (e.g., Vercel).
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work asynchronously and in real-time across remote teams.
- High attention to detail and a design-oriented mindset, with a focus on UX quality, visual polish, and interaction fidelity.
- Bonus: familiarity with animation libraries (Framer Motion, CSS transitions) and accessibility best practices.
- Proficient in English (CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5).
