One of our companies is currently looking for a Cyber Security Consultant in the United Kingdom .

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will join a dynamic professional services team, delivering expert guidance and actionable solutions across a broad range of cyber security domains. Your role will span technical controls, compliance, security transformation, and risk management, serving clients across various industries. You will lead and support client engagements, ensuring effective implementation of security measures, risk mitigation strategies, and alignment with leading frameworks and regulations. This position requires strategic thinking, technical depth, and strong interpersonal skills to deliver high-impact results. Although remote, occasional travel may be required based on client needs.

Accountabilities:

Lead and support client engagements in cyber risk assessment, remediation, and compliance initiativesDeliver and manage multiple workstreams including incident response planning, policy implementation, and supply chain risk managementProduce technical assessments, maturity audits, and security tooling recommendationsTranslate complex technical findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiencesCollaborate across global teams including digital forensics, threat intelligence, and pen testing specialistsContribute to proposal writing and client RFPs as a subject matter expertDrive continuous improvement of services, tools, and processes within the consulting teamAdhere to client and regulatory standards, contributing to risk governance and business continuity efforts

Requirements

3+ years in a client-facing cyber security, GRC, or consulting role, or 5+ years in a related field (military, law enforcement, or intelligence)Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experienceActive certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISAExperience with ISO 27001/2, NIST, ISF, CMMI, or UK Government/Defence security frameworksStrong communication skills with the ability to brief stakeholders at all levelsBackground in threat intelligence reporting and risk prioritizationSelf-starter with the ability to manage concurrent projects independently or within a teamAbility to travel occasionally across the UK as needed
